Graphic Designer

Your Role
In the position of graphic designer you will required to produce artwork for implementation in a number of different outputs varying from brochures and packaging to email and web. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a good working knowledge of design, print and web processes. You must be able to present a strong portfolio with a variety of print based design along with the ability to demonstrate email marketing and web design. Flexicare has a strong corporate image and you must be able to overcome the challenges of designing artwork for different mediums whilst keeping the corporate identity consistent. Your ability to come up with new ideas to strengthen the Flexicare identity will be encouraged.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Design
- Ability to develop websites and update content
management systems.
- Ability to design and implement email marketing
campaigns.
- Ensure deadlines are met in a timely and appropriate
manner.
- Work to printers specifications to ensure final print
quality is maintained.
- Working knowledge of print processes, colour use and
the ability to produce print ready artwork.

Skills /Attributes
- The ability to produce high quality designs, whilst
working under pressure on multiple projects and to
tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and people skills with a
positive ‘can do’ attitude.
- Web programming skills would be a great advantage.
- Excellent MAC/PC skills.
- Forward thinking.
- Good communicator and team player.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Highly skilled using Adobe Creative Suite and other
industry leading programs.

Experience
- The right attitude and technical skills are the most
important aspects.
- Preferably we are looking an individual who has worked
in a printing environment and produced a wide
range of print and web based design, although not
essential for the right candidate.
